Jabadaw Trio

Formed by Martin, Miranda and Simon at the start of 1998, Jabadaw Trio is, well, a trio of musicians from Jabadaw. We play mostly acoustic dance music from France and Brittany, with a hint of Spain and Scandinavia thrown in.

Jabadaw Trio split at the end of 2001. However, the ex-members of Jabadaw Trio occasionally get together for one-off gigs under the new name Polka Express.

Jabadaw Trio are:

Martin Keates: Hurdy-gurdy and melodeon
Simon Dew: Soprano saxophone, mandola and flute
Miranda Rutter: Fiddle
